The formation of a public body was carried out in the year according to the new rules: for eight candidates, the governor of the region, the Ivanovo Regional Duma and members of the Public Chamber approved by them were determined.

The remaining eight members were determined by the social activists themselves during the organizational assembly on December 14.

The composition of the Public Chamber was substantially updated: 17 out of 24 people first became members of the collegial body. The course for the update was indicated by the governor of the Ivanovo region Stanislav Voskresensky. The new composition contains representatives of the most diverse spheres of public life, age, professions and social status.
