Alexey Trifonov Biography

More athletes from 38 countries took part in the competition. Our fellow countryman, the summer master of sports of international class, Alexei Trifonov, became the owner of the main prize in the Ful-Contact section in weight up to 51 kg.

The correspondent of the First Ulyanovsk Portal managed to meet with Alexei immediately after his return home and learn more about his victory and what the athletes live when there are no competitions. Alexey: My father was also an athlete, he was engaged in boxing. It was he who brought me in a year to the hall to his friend. I really liked it and since then I have been constantly engaged.

At first there was only boxing, but since I did not achieve much success in this form - the master of sports in boxing - approx. Alexey: Before going to the international tournament, I took part in the Russian championship, which was held with us in Ulyanovsk. According to its results, athletes were already selected to participate in the World Cup. It is very pleasant that Lily Sharapova and Igor Kopylov, who brought one silver and one bronze medals to the piggy bank of Ulyanovsk, also included in the Ulyanovsk region.

In general, according to the results of the competition, the Russian team took the first team place, taking 8 gold medals. Alexey: I already took part in these competitions 3 times and won 3 times. The most interesting thing is that for several years in a row in the final I come across the same rivals. For example, with athletes from Italy and Poland, I boxed already 3 times.

And most importantly, in the ring we are rivals, and behind the ring we are friends and communicate well. Alexei: Peak for Kikbokser is participation in the World Cup. I won in kickboxing everything that is possible: 2 such championships, 3 Cups of the world and the European Championship. Also in the year for the final battle of the World Cup I was awarded the title: "The best kickboxer of the World Cup." Alexey: After you climb the upper step of the pedestal, the hardest is to keep the victory.

So far, I succeed. Each time I experience indescribable sensations when the anthem of Russia plays in honor of my victory, immediately such pride in our country. In general, I would really like to get to the so -called “Small Olympic Games” - World Martial Arts.

In the year they will be held in Las Vegas. But there are not all weight categories, and, unfortunately, my weight has never chosen. But as soon as such an opportunity is presented, I will definitely go there and will surely win it laughs, - approx. Alexey: I don’t have much of him, usually I manage to relax only in the offseason - in the winter, when there is no competition.

With friends we go to the camp site, fishing, I like outdoor activities - play tennis, billiards. In addition, I am a married person, and I have a little daughter, I try to spend more time with them. Alexey: The proposals, of course, come different. But last year, at a meeting with Governor Sergei Morozov, issues were discussed on the support of Ulyanovsk athletes: allocation of apartments, scholarships.

I hope that at the next meeting this issue we will discuss in more detail. We also plan to go to the European Championship in Spain. We very often go to the fees to different cities. In July, for example, we will go to Crimea, then to the Moscow Region. Alexey: I am engaged in the Club "Battle gloves", and it is in the basement of 34 schools. And sometimes schoolchildren come to look at our training, take autographs even.
