Father immediately felt how much Sasha is a talented guy, and since then he tried to record his new albums only with him. In early March, before going to a concert in Orenburg, my father asked me to come and record the guitar in several songs. I went to him on March 10, two weeks before his death.

At the end of X, he played in the Lyubertsy group Allegro, which was gathered by my father, and at the beginning of the x pope called him to his carnival. When he put me a bit, he said that I need to go to a music school, because, without knowing notes, you can’t develop.

Georgy Barykin: It was very difficult to work with him, since he set a very high bar with his skill. But I learned to work with the hall from him, he showed me how to give energy, taught some tricks. It was comfortable with him, as with a good commander.

In the year, when we still rode around the country, there were 23 people: “Carnival” and my group. And in the year, when the country broke up, the crisis began, and the concerts almost stopped, the musicians fled, since it was difficult to feed two compositions. And in the end, the composition of my group passed to my father. He announced at concerts: “Group“ Carnival ”, young blood!

At first you received a profitable contract in Italy. Later, they became interested in your work in Brazil, where you became in demand both as a singer and as a composer. Georgy Barykin: I composed songs, but they were not taken on the radio, and I felt complete futility in the local market. But through the social network Myspace could be contacted with musicians and DJs in any corner of the world.

Then the idea of ​​Electronic Dance Music was very popular, and I made the track One Look with David Tort, which became a world hit.There I remembered the words of my father that he said when I wrote my first English -language song at the summer. Georgy Barykin: Yes, when his father was forbidden, it was very difficult. We then lived on one mother’s salary. Mom worked as a laboratory assistant in photography, she had all her hands yellow from the developer. Until a year, we had no furniture at all, because we simply did not have enough money to buy it. I remember the bare walls and yellowed wallpaper on which phones were recorded.

And at our house, the saxophonist Valentin Ilyenko still lived in our house. Father called him to the Carnival, but there is no work, and Valentine has no money to rent an apartment. Then one of the best orchestral compositions gathered in Lenkom. There were the musicians of the Araks group, which was also dispersed, and Sergey Berezkin played the guitar, and Chris Kelmi on the keys, and his father decided to go to work in the orchestra hole.

But the father did not work there for a very long time. Once the theater went on tour, and when people found out that Barykin was working in the Lenkom orchestra, they organized his concert and gathered an entire ice palace. Mark Zakharov found out about this and called his father. Well, what to do? When you write Barykin, the excitement begins immediately.

Dad is a unique singer for timbre colors, the second one was not in Russia and will not be. The memory of son Gosha, how did you remember your father? Georgy Barykin: He was not a simple, hard person. In the morning, as a rule, he was funny. And during the day, his mood could change dramatically. But I would like to emphasize that he had an internal imbalance. He began with rock and roll, and life forced to perform pop songs.
