Scientist-historian, candidate of philosophical sciences Honorary Worker of Higher Professional Education of the Russian Federation Founder and director of the Novokuznetsk branch of the Institute of Kemerovo State University Vladimir Semenovich was born on August 12 in the city of Chardzhou Turkmenistan. He was the third child in the family. The elders were pre -war children.

At the time of the birth of his brother, Ernst was 10 years old, and Albert - Ernst came up with the name of his younger brother. In the year, Vladimir went to school in Turkmenistan. But in the year the family moved to Novokuznetsk. Here Vladimir entered the construction college. Realizing in time that this profession does not carry him away, at the age of 17 he went to work on the Redakovo mine.

He studied at the same time at the evening school. Before leaving for the army, I acquired the profession of a mining machine driver. In the year he was drafted into the army, served in the Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol, Feodosia, Kerch. Here I received a military profession-a diver-deeper. In January, he was adopted by an assistant to the Department of Philosophy of the Siberian Metallurgical Institute of Sibiu. In years, he studied in graduate school at the Department of Philosophy of the Novosibirsk State University. In the year he defended his thesis and received the degree of candidate of philosophical sciences. Up to a year he served as senior teacher of the Department of Philosophy of the Media.

From September to June, he worked as an assistant professor at the Department of Philosophy of the Novokuznetsk State Pedagogical Institute. At the end of the x, the philosopher brothers Ernst and Vladimir Gershgorina were widely known in Novokuznetsk as teachers with non-standard thinking, enlighteners and participants of numerous informal educational discussions. During this period, Vladimir Semenovich thought that Novokuznetsk needs a modern university, which will become another point of growth of the industrial city.

In September, he was appointed director of the Center for Personality Development. Around the initiative of the City Council of People's Deputies, work begins on the project "Novokuznetsk -". This project was carried out together with specialists from Pittsburgh of the United States, the cities of Novokuznetsk. Working groups were formed in areas: ecology, education, business, etc.

The group, which discussed the development of education development, was included in Vladimir Semenovich Gershgorin. Unfortunately, the project was not completed. In the year, Vladimir Semenovich headed the Higher Entrepreneurial College, formed on the basis of the Center for Personality Development with the aim of preparing highly qualified specialists for public management, enterprises and organizations of various forms of ownership of the South Kuzbass region.

In the year, the Higher Entrepreneurial College was transformed into the Novokuznetsk branch of the Kemerovo State University of the Kuzbass Humanitarian and Pedagogical Institute of KemSU. In the year, following the results of the city television competition in the nomination "Higher School" Vladimir Semenovich was recognized as the "man of the year." Vladimir Semenovich put the whole soul into the creation and development of the university.

Over time, licenses for teaching actual specialties were obtained: information technology, jurisprudence, state and municipal management with specialization, and then - the “municipal management” profile, economics and management at urban enterprises, geoecology, etc. The best specialists and scientists from Novokuznetsk, Kemerovo, Moscow and other cities came to give lectures to students and teachers.

He invited authoritative scientists to create and develop faculties and departments. All the years he sought to keep up with changes, organized seminars to improve the qualifications of employees and students. The institute became a partner and an educational base for many enterprises and institutions, authorities of all levels of not only the city of Novokuznetsk, but also the south of Kuzbass.

The university developed and strengthened, raised its own personnel, strengthened the material base, improving the conditions for training.Vladimir Semenovich was not only the head of the university, but also the teacher, the scientific director of the “Scientific and Educational Center for Integrated Safety Problems and Sustainable Development of the Coal Industry”, the author of a large number of research works.

The scientific direction to reduce the accident rate at coal mining enterprises, which was led by Vladimir Semenovich, developed such approaches and conditions that allowed us to look differently at the working situations and differently build their actions in the management system. Students took part in these scientific developments, and thesis was protected. The difficult and painful process of adaptation, restructuring and making difficult decisions, Vladimir Semenovich, experienced dignity, showing great patience and tact.

Here, his authority and experience provided invaluable assistance. He took an active part in the discussion and adoption of regional laws aimed at the dynamic development of the region, at the creation and improvement of the lives of our countrymen. Despite employment, he regularly met with voters, resolved their issues. Vladimir Semenovich remained the permanent head of the NFA KemSU until August, when, for health reasons, he was forced to leave his post.

He passed away after a long illness on August 16. His contribution to the development of the city, the Higher School of Kuzbass is huge, so he always enjoyed well -deserved authority and respect in the team, the scientific community, the leadership of the city and the region.
