Augustova Roman Theodorovna Biography
Roman Theodorovna Augustova with this ingenious teacher and a wonderful person brought me fate when I was, at the 7th month of pregnancy, my son Zhenya. This was not a full -time acquaintance, but only information about her in the book of Vladimir Levy. After reading interesting information about the methodology of teaching children with Down syndrome, I postponed the book until those times when this technique could be useful to me in work.
Before that, it seemed so much time ahead. It is necessary to endure and give birth to your boy, as well as give him everything necessary in the first three years of life. And only then I planned to go to work. I worked with children with reduced intelligence OMs suffering from cerebral palsy. There were no children with Down syndrome in my practice, but, of course, as a teacher, I was interested in the methodology of Romain Augustova.
I decided that I would definitely study it, but then. And now ... so much joy, beauty and positive was around me. I rested with my belly in Yalta, where I took with me the book of Vladimir Levy, donated by a friend. But I had to put it in a box for three years, as I thought, but for a couple of months. The invaluable belly that I walked in the Crimea hid just such a child with which Roman Theodorovna Augustova, a child with Down syndrome, is engaged in himself.
As soon as my son and I were at home after a neonatal hospital, I rushed to look for the very book in the blue cover that contained information about Romain Theodorovna, hoping to find its coordinates. Then it seemed that there was enough strength to even go with the child to Moscow, to Romain, if only to give him everything possible for development. But not always desires coincide with the possibilities, it did not work out to leave.
Nevertheless, approaching the dream, that is, to Romain Theodorovna, soon happened. My baby was 7 months old when, at the request of Kharkov parents, she came to our city. Looking at the photo of my baby, she said: "A man will grow out of him." Of course, how else? Roman Theodorovna Augustova with her pedagogical activity proved that in every child with Down syndrome the same person lives as we all, with his own virtues and disadvantages, with his individual abilities and needs, with his dreams and experiences, with the possibility and desire to study.
At a meeting in Kharkov, I captured Romen Theodorovna in the photo. Augustova R. I was driving alone, without a child. The purpose of my trip was to see the lessons of this talented teacher, as well as ask Romain Augustus a methodological nature. By this time, her book “Say, you can! Nevertheless, read it is one thing, but to see with my own eyes - the other one. I naturally stocked up with a notebook and a handle for the abstract of the lessons, but, to my surprise, it didn’t come in handy.
Every teacher knows that any lesson begins from the organizational moment. In the classroom of the Augustova’s Romasion, I did not see this moment and, thus, it was the first time, it was a summary There is nothing to do not need any organizational tricks. independently reading syllables. On the other hand, this exciting activity was difficult to call a lesson in the usual sense of the word.
For an hour of class, children were not even tired. This is impossible to say about the teacher, since Roman Theodorovna "laid out" in full. The work of the teacher is very difficult, and even with such kids who need to not only be taught, but, above all, interest in study. Sitting in the lessons in Moscow, I could only dream when my baby would demand to read him a book and pull my hand.
To my great joy, less than two weeks after my return from Moscow, when this moment came. So, I went to Moscow not in vain. So, we stepped on a new and difficult, as well as an insanely interesting path, the path of training according to the methodology of Romain Theodorovna Augustova. In the process of working with my son, I added something, I didn’t take something at all, but I took the Augustova’s methodology as a basis.
This year my son goes to school, but we, of course, continue to study. And I want to draw attention to the fact that I borrowed this method of work from Romena Theodorovna. I can’t even imagine how we would study without these adapted fairy tales, and indeed without Romain Augustova. Thank you so much! And thanks to the fate for bringing me to this amazing person.
