One of the few who was awarded the Gabdulla Tukai Prize for works written in his native language. The years of childhood and youth, every resident of Tatarstan knows Hassan Tufan, since his works are part of the mandatory school curriculum in literature. One of the few writers of the country who, during his lifetime, received several high awards including the Tukai State Prize and the title of the national figure of the country.

During the life of the poet, they knew how a modest, quiet and very shy person, despite the fact that his last name translates as “typhoon” or “hurricane”. Hassan Tufan was born on December ninth of the year in a small village called Old Karemet. The village was located on the territory of Soviet Tatarstan. The researchers failed to determine the accurate nationality of the poet for a number of reasons.

In the first years of the poet’s life, in the village, in principle, there were no educational institutions. For this reason, many children received home education. The first teacher for Little Hassan was his father. It was he who taught to read and write his son, and it was he who became those who were the first to record part of the boy’s biography regarding his first years of life.

Later, when the first schools of Hassan Tufan began to appear to study there. Hassan Tufan in his youth, a famous writer was published under the pseudonym, which he appeared when Hassan was quite an adult. At birth, he received the name of his mother - Gulzizin. And although the surname is quite ordinary, in Tatarstan it is quite rare, because of which the boy always stood out among peers.

Being already an adult, Hassan talked about the fact that the mother of his mother takes her origins from fugitive peasants. In ancient times, they were baptized and ranked themselves to true Christians. However, the new religion has not changed anything for everyday life. The ancestors still did not go to church, and they could not pray. As a result in the temple, according to church laws they were not crowned, and the children were not baptized.

According to all the laws of faith, the children were illegitimate and they were assigned a surname taken from their mother. Such a tradition has been preserved, and therefore Khasan was given a maternal last name. Being fourteen -year -old teenagers, the tufan went to work. To do this, he and his brothers went to the Urals, where they all got a job on a copper mine.

After a while, when the young man returned to his homeland, he found work at a factory related to metallurgical production. Working a lot, the young man came to the conclusion that it was necessary to receive further education, for which he submitted documents to the Madre “Galia”, located in Ufa. This solution in the future biography of the poet will play an important role, influencing life as a whole.

During his studies, Hassan Tufan met Shaykhzad Babich. The young writer organized his own musical and literary circle, to which he invited a new acquaintance. Not a small role in the development of Hassan as a poet and writer was played by his teacher Galimjan Ibragimov. The writers at the beginning of his life Hassan Tufan was absolutely far from literature. At first, he simply worked as part at the factory, and after studying for ten years he worked as a teacher.

Schools in Kazan, in the Urals and Siberia. After that, at the age of twenty -eight years, the future poet went on a journey through the Transcaucasia and Central Asia. His trip, associated with the study of culture and everyday life, lasted two years. The first verses of the young author were printed in the year. In the twenties of the last century, Hassan Bi wrote such works as “Ural Sketches”, “Bibiev”, “between two eras”. After decades, it was they who became part of the literary fund of Tatarstan.

In the thirties, the tufan held a position in radio digging of Tatarstan. Being an editor, he came across a variety of topics of exciting people. At the same time, Hassan decides to change the main literary genre in which he worked. The usual epic gradually replaced with the lyrics. The poems that appeared from the poet’s pen over time became folk songs that today sound during festivities.

All works of the poet from the first lines inspired the working class, which could not but attract the attention of the authorities of the Soviet Union. Having worked for several years in the publication "Soviet Literature" as a secretary, in the year the tufan falls under repression. The young man was detained and transported to Kazan, where the trial took place over him.

At first, the court passed a fatal sentence, but after a while it was replaced with a ten -year stay in the camp. His works of that period are permeated with philosophical statements and filled with meaning, maturity of reasoning and poetry.Only in the year, after the death of Stalin, the poet was able to return to Kazan.
