Horse sports biography
The author - Alina Fomicheva, the ProKoni team studied the professions of the equestrian world and talked with their representatives: horsemen, horsebacks, coaches, coaches, course designers, judges, livestock specialists, and veterinarians. In the process, we managed to find out why the girls chose this particular profession, is it difficult for them that they like, what motivates and inspires work, as this affects their lives outside of equestrian sports.
Our first guest was Olga Fadeeva, an interview with her, you can read here, and the second is Vera Malysheva-an athlete and a hemp of the 7-time Russian champion Mikhail Safronov! Vera has extensive experience working with different horses, a huge baggage of knowledge, which is replenished daily and hourly. In an interview, the rider talks in detail about labor everyday life, about her complex and interesting path in the horse world, about what motivates her to work, about happy moments, as well as the difficulties that arise in the work of the connocation.
Vera: I was born in the city of Ramenskoye, there is a well-known Ramensky hippodrome and with it the equestrian school in which my mother once was engaged.
I remember that we always had a lot of books about horses, figurines of horses at home - all this attracted me, of course. My family was against equestrian sport, they knew that it was difficult both physically and morally, but no matter how they resist, at the age of 11 they still took me to the horse school in Ramensky. Somehow I coped with the lynx, because my mother talked a lot about what to do, and at least some understanding I had.
My horse was experienced and also went gallop, since she clearly knew that she should do the same as the rest of the horses. I did not fall, but it was unpleasant, the first lesson scared me. But I continued to study, but already on the cord. But for this I had to work hard. We did not have grooms, and the coaches ourselves beat off the money, and we children helped them: they unloaded the oats, rolled giant hay rolls into the stable, sewed horses from buckets - there were no auto -covers.
And I liked everything at once, that is, I loved not only to ride a horse, but also to take care of her. All that we did is we liked it. I have a lot of friends who began to study with me in Ramensky, and now they have become quite successful people in their profession: someone works as a birch and jumps on young horses, and someone is a feeding manager in one famous Russian company. I believe that this is precisely the merit of our first coach, Anna Vladimirovna, who instructed us to work, work, and first of all think about horses that they have water, so that they would stand in clean money and well -groomed.
Over time, I realized that riding me does not inspire me, unlike communication and horses. ProKoni: How did your way of convex begin? When did you start working with Mikhail Safronov? Vera: It so happened that in G. at that time there were such high -level riders as: a master of sports on the exit Tatyana Pchelina, who prepared her competitive horse, which jumped for a large prize.
In my opinion, this is very cool! Then, on the outlet, I had 1 category, but I performed the CCM that I was not assigned because we did not submit documents. In fact, in any case, I would have 1 category or the title of CCM, this would not affect the choice of a profession in the horse world. Later they began to give horses to the work: both young and horses from the rental rental.
After some time, I began to cooperate with Masha Shigal now-the main horseman of Maxima Stables: I was a horse meat, and also worked her horses. I remember Masha gave me her horse Flister for performances. It seems to me that Masha did not leave attempts to lure me on horseback, but I still liked to take care of the horses. Then I still did not think that I would develop in the equestrian world as a hemp, I still studied, and at school I loved accurate sciences.
A little later I had to return to Ramenskoye. Alexander Zamkovov just quit the hemp, and I approached him to talk about work. And, to my surprise, without any hesitation, he hired me to work! In addition to the career of the rider, Alexander Ivanovich was an equestrian dealer. I was madly happy to new cooperation, but my delight did not last long ... Until they told me about all my responsibilities, which included cleaning, washing and other horses, which Alexander purchased.
As I said, he was an equestrian dealer, and new horses from Europe came constantly. When the horse rides in horseback for a week, it arrives hairy, dirty, tired, and it also happened that she arrived, and the next day the buyer is waiting for her, so you need to prepare the animal as quickly as possible. And I constantly wondered: how to catch it? The work was hard, but over time I realized that I liked this work, and that I want to be a connocation at the athlete. The only thing, I did not like that Alexander Ivanovich was a dealer, and the horses that I looked after, which I loved constantly leaving was very difficult.
In general, it is very difficult to part with horses! .. Next, I started working with Olga Danilova in Ufa. And my first tournament was the start in Khanty-Mansiysk. I note the maximum where I went earlier - the path from the south of Moscow to the north of Moscow! I remember this tournament to many: we entered the prizes, I coped with my tasks, despite the fact that a stranger horse hit me.
But the following competitions turned out to be a fall for me and Olya in the literal sense, since it fell on the ditch: the horse landed on it, and most likely, it had a concussion. It was difficult to survive and continue to work the same way as we worked before. When we returned home, we again began to slowly train. Olya, of course, thought a lot about this, worried, but did not admit that it was difficult for her, she was still a girl.
Together with Olya, I worked for 2 years. Once we went to the Tournament on the planning, in which Mikhail Safronov took part. From different magazines, I knew that Safronov was constantly in prizes. Olya once told me that Mikhail passes the routes very accurately and stably wins. I have never seen him on horseback, so I did not miss the opportunity to look at his performance.
I was delighted !! Together with her and horses we visited different cities and countries. I worked with Olya on my own, she completely trusted me, and I liked what I did. In the year, our cooperation has ended. I tried to work with different riders from the exit and the post. On the glider, I was familiar with Nastya Makarenko, and when she went on vacation, she asked me to work her horses.
After her return from the vacation, Nastya shared the cool news that she would work as a birch with Mikhail Safronov. I don’t know why, but at that moment I needed a break from work, and I sat at home for a month in front of the monitor. So I returned back to the equestrian world and continued to cooperate with Nastya. And somewhere in May, I began working with Misha Safronov.
ProKoni: What should you be prepared for and what to expect when having come to this profession? With what difficulties in T. Faith: first of all, you need to be prepared for an irregular schedule. You yourself can plan your time: come to work earlier, finish earlier. On the other hand, it is impossible to plan in advance, yet because these are horses, and situations are different.
You need to be morally stable, because when you jump 5 horses in the route, and in your work you can not forget to do anything: you need to knead, and shoot, and prepare. In the meantime, you collect things with you in a horse, you are all carrying the ammunition itself, bales with hay, cars, there is no one to do it for us, only the driver can help with this. In general, you need to be prepared for the fact that the work of connocodes involves an increased degree of responsibility.
And no matter how it sounds, nothing needs to be expected here, and the work of the horse -drawn - ungrateful work of high -level riders, as a rule, are very grateful to their horse breeders, unlike athletes below the level, young horsemen or those who have never worked without a horse -drawn. Experienced horsemen perceive the horseman as their friend, because we do everything for their success: we love their horses and the athletes themselves, we do everything so that there is a result.
Of course, if you work not only for a good horseman, but also a good person, then you are lucky! Such a person will always make it clear that he is grateful, and it will be pleasant. And you can also expect positive emotions from horses, from working with them, from the results. Prokoni: What originally attracted you in the profession of a connocation, and what do you find interesting in your activities to this day?
Vera: As I already said initially, no matter how trite it sounds, I have attracted me with love and interest in horses, to this day, a misunderstanding of how an animal with great physical strength obeys and trusts a person. It is very difficult to understand what the horse is thinking about. Regardless of how much you work as a horseman, you see the progress in the behavior of horses, each time you learn something and find out something new, later you begin to understand this and think, yes, indeed, I have never had this.
From my young age, when they were still young, full of strength, sports fighters, and now these are age horses that we simply love. Their life, the changes that take place with them, how and what to do in situations with other horses in the future, is experience. I am inspired by the process, exactly the one that happens with us. I was always lucky with the riders and, again, I was lucky with the rider: Mikhail does not limit me in actions.
If I want to try precisely these muesli for this horse, I tell him this, and he agrees or asks why I think this way.I like that no one says to me that I should be on a horse at 6 in the morning. And so at 6 in the morning I am already sitting on a horse. Nobody forces me. This is my warehouse, it inspires me. We do not have the same that you get a salary, so you have to work and vice versa, we do not have such conversations.
I like my job. Vera: Of course, we have bonuses. We go to tournaments in Europe. In addition, it is very interesting to see how the horse -stands work for the top competitors. True, the courage is not always enough to go to someone and look at his work. When you come to the competition, it is not always pleasant if someone outsider enters your world and wants to know something. It is very interesting to look at the work of other leading horsemen, their horsemen, other countries, despite the fact that it is extremely rare to go for a walk in the city.
