I love sport very much in all its manifestations-running, football, volleyball, basketball, I like to engage in BJJ [Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu]. I love traveling. How long have you training and how did you come to Kudo? I have been training from the year. All my conscious life I am in Kudo.
I am training from the year. My father brought me to Kudo, since he himself was an athlete and would like his sons to grow up healthy and strong. Why did you decide to engage in coaching activities? Friends and acquaintances persuaded for a long time. I myself postponed this moment, thinking that I was not experienced enough, I have no knowledge to transmit to others, but over time I got involved and I liked it.
Tell me about the club you train. A club was opened with a brother in a year. At first it was a small room of order of squares, but in two years the students became much more and we were no longer placed, so we decided to move to a more comfortable and spacious hall. Since the time, more and more expanded. The number of those involved in increases and now we have two departments: one about 2 thousand squares, with three floors, many halls, cabinet.
What goals are you now setting yourself, in front of your students? The goals are always maximum - first places in competitions of any level, from festivals to championships and championships of the world. Tell us about the greatest successes as a coach I have three winners of the Russian championship in KUDO, several winners of the Russian championships in Kudo and kickboxing.
Remember your biggest failure, tell me how it was? Throughout my adult sports career, at all competitions, I always took prizes. The biggest failures are the selection for the World Cup and GG when I remained the third reserve number. The main lesson that I endured for myself is that you need to go to my goal to the end, no matter what.
Do not look for reasons and excuses. Kudo is a relatively young sport. What is its distinguishing feature? The dynamics of the battle, a quick transition from shock technology to work in casting equipment and a sino, and of course the presence of an original helmet. What can you advise novice athletes? I will advise young athletes disciplines, disciplines in everything - in the training process, in the mode of the day, in the discipline of their thoughts.
There are many distracting factors and only discipline makes it possible to limit yourself from everything superfluous, which prevents you from achieving your goals tell us about judges. How is it interesting and useful? I take part in refereeing from a year, I have 1 category. A look from different sides of the judge, athlete, coach, organizer is very useful and allows you to see the whole picture of our sport.
Working by the judge, you notice all the little things of the fight, which in the future can come in handy both in the work of the coach and in his training process. Tell me about the specifics of working with parents of young athletes? How do they participate in the training process? Everyone needs a special approach, all people are different. I try to find an individual approach to everyone.
In any case, the support of parents is very important for the child, but the main thing is that it is not excessive. How to raise a champion in a child? There are many factors. I use: motivation, personal example, painstaking work and discipline. What is the most important thing in the work of the coach? The most important thing in the work of the coach is not to think that you know everything and can do everything.
Constantly developing, studying with other trainers, studying with your students is very important and not shameful. It is also important to give the child to develop individually, and not make everyone do everything the same. Tell us about the specifics of your work. My specificity is probably that I am conducting a lot of training. Therefore, there is still one.
Conduct 50 training per week is the norm for me.
